From one Granny to another that sounds quite bad, as has been said have you been to see the Dr? All you can do is rest, take it easy and let your other half do the work! Granny |

oh Grannie, I'm so sorry to hear, know how you feel though. I had a fall just before Christmas, only thing bruised was my ego though, made a face plant into a pile of shoes at my sisters front door. Fell on the cheese tray I was carrying. Made mighty fine cream cheese if I do say. LOL Hope you heal quickly. Debs |

Oh you have been to the doctors. Thank goodness for that, I was so afraid for you that I just read straight over that bit!!! stay warm and relaxed. Since it is only bruising and no breaks, that is good news and I do hope the pain goes soon. Deanna X |

My husband took me out for a chinese tonight. We both felt very uncomfortable. We could see people looking at us and you just knew they were thinking he had battered me,and this was his treat. He then reminded me that i did a first aid course last week, what a larf. Then to top it all,my 3 daughters want me to go ice skating on thurs with them and the grandkids.I can now tell my fortune.I will either come back with a broken limb or have a skate run over my hand.I have been watching celeb ice skating and the technics but i cant see me doing any of this,i cant even stand up on the ice.l.o.l Annie |

Hi Annie Thank you for the update. Im sorry your not so well from your fall - but no broken bones, so that is good. I expect hubby feels so awful really considering he is so tidy too. Its funny how you know what people are thinking - even though you know they are wrong! I used to work with a lass whos partner hits her every now and then (I didnt know that at the time). She came into work with a massive black eye this day and I said 'Oh my god what happened to you?' She just laughed and said 'Errm, I walked into a door' The other lasses told me what HAD happened and that he always did it, but she loves him!!! Anyways, thats up to her. Get better soon Annie - and give the skating a miss till your better - just watch hubby have a go........ RC |
