Hi Lesley, it looks as if our reviews of Cloud Atlas have gone - we lost a thread in the middle of last year unfortunately. It will be interesting to hear your views as opinion on here was divided - I liked it, everyone else hated it lol lol!! Maz. XX |

Hi Lesley, Sorry have been off line the past hour. Welcome to Greaders. If youw ant an idea of what had gone before put Greaders into the search facility at the top of the board. All the previous Greader (GR reader) threads will come up. you can then read past reviews. Ann Glos |

Hi Lesley, we all suggest books, then we can vote (but not for the ones we suggested ourselves!). We then have a month to read 1 or more of those selected. Then there is a new thread posted up for us to say what we thought of the book(s) - a review but nothing too highbrow as you will see from mine tomorrow!! You are MORE than welcome, the more the merrier!! Please feel free to suggest some books on here and look out for the voting thread on Sunday. Maz. XX ps - coming soon ..... GReaders Poetry thread! |

Part 2 of my posting. PC did something odd and jammed so I couldn't finish my posting, and didn't realise part 1 had gone. 2nd fiction suggestion. The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebbold. About a young girl (forgotten her name) who is sexually assauted and murdered . She observes the effect her death has on friends and family from the afterlife. (There's probably a better review than this on Amazon but I'm just getting ready to go to work and am a bit pushed for time) Classic: Vanity Fair by W.M. Thackerwray. |

As I am going away for the weekend tomorrow, leaving fairly early, would you prefer the list and results put up this evening or Sunday evening? Ann Glos |
