By the way, we dont have any snakes of either the land or sea variety apart from a few yellow bellied sea snakes which wash up dead from Australia occasionally. No really poisonous creatures to worry about although the ladies might get a fright if they meet our weta or large centipede but it is fairly rare. Dont let me put you off though, I am still around after growing up in NZ and meeting them. They dont scare me.

one thing, Raffles in Singapore - bit of a letdown in my opinion. yes there's the whole history of the place, but its now got a big shopping centre bolted on the side of it. By all means pop in for a Singapore Sling if you feel the need though...

I hope they enjoy it too Linda, I was in Singpaore for a few weeks several years ago, was workign most of the time though so didn't do quite as much sightseeing as I would have liked. Just my opinion about Raffles - I'm sure most people that go there like it.
