I have been in contact with Donna. She has been going through chemotherapy as you all know. Although she feel like 'crap' she is holding up. The GOOD news is that she is reponding to the therapy so well, she now only has to go for treatment every 3 weeks instead of every 2. Three more sessions left. After that she will be put on a 'new' drug. Please send positive thoughts and well wishes to our 'Strump' Deb |

My new drug will work along side part of chemo (plus a bit more), its called artoximab (or some thing like that).......feel like shite, its all gonna do good lol...........so they say lol!!! We shall see eh! |

Hi Donna,got up when o.h. went to work cos I couldn't get back to sleep - so only on here for a short time and then back to bed for an hour or two more, before I pop out to get my hair cut. It's snowy here in Norfolk today, it settled last night and is frozen into ruts at the mo, from people's cars. Hope the roads have been gritted or it has melted a bit when I go. O.h. broke my scraper on his car, doh! Glad to hear your progress is good altho sorry you are feeling so rough with the treatment at the moment, hope the new drug helps and life is soon on the up for you. Of course people care about you - nice to have some contact with you now and again, and a news bulletin sometimes from elsewhere if you aren't feeling up to posting. Take care, Liz |
