Alfred. In my mother's paternal line, none of the males lived very long, the eldest was her brother (Alfred) who died at 68. Most died much younger. Most common female names were Louise (or Louisa) and Elizabeth. David |

William and George .................. except .............. way back in the 1700's and early 1800's, loads of seriously biblical names like Jacob, Jonah, Abraham, Amos ......... I've even got a Noah and a Gabriel!! As the names don't appear in later generations, I guess the family must have gone a bit heathen! Bev x |
