i would love to go to a meet. everytime one is arranged it is when i am at work! manchester last year i missed cause i didnt kniow about it and i was IN manchester at the time seeing alice cooper at m.e..n i was on holiday the wrong week for the middlesbro meet. got all excited about a york/harrogate meet then no more info - is it going ahead or fizzled out? not confident to arrange one myself, feel i would be the only one there! lol. tina x |

Thanks for nudging this - had to go last night just when it was geting interesting! Was hoping that some of you would be coming over in June for the IW Festival (see before) and we could have a meet then. It's a brilliant atmosphere at the festival - DO come over - aw go-on,go-on, go-on! Allie x |

Allie ... We have had an I.o.W meet.......- I even travelled from here in the south east to attend as it was at Whippingham, where ancestors moved to from the mainland. Another one in the warmer weather might appeal to some. Gwyn |

Lunchtime and now back again ....... How long ago did you have the meet Gwyneth? Hopefully the weather will be good for the Festival (second weekend in June) but hey, it IS the Isle of Wight! The past couple of years have been kind, so fingers crossedxxxx Perhaps I should start another thread about this calling all COLDPLAY, PRODIGY and FOO FIGHTER fans ! Also LOO REED ;-) Allie x |

Isle of Wight meet was September 2004, ... I think. Quite a few crossed over the Solent for the day. I stayed on for a couple of days researching in the Record Office at Newport. |

i live in scarborough, that is why york or harrogate would be a good place to get to. (i dont drive so would have to go by train/bus) i see ther is another manchester meet on the 18th march, again i am working. saturdays are not a good day. my next holiday is not til the last week in april. i am determind to get to one somewhere!!!!!!!!!!!1 tina x |
