Veronica we have had a very mild winter in Scotland this year. My crocuses were flowering when this sudden heavy fall of snow appeared last night. Anne in snowy Scotland |

poor you anne...... (remember me) changed name so as not to be mistaken. We have finally got rid of our snow over in Aberdeenshire. Had over 12 inches. Rivers are a bit on the full side though, so some areas may be prone to flooding when all the snow finally melts up the hills. So far no more bad snow. |

Watched the news and saw the amount of snow in Glasgow - bet you are glad you are at home and didn't go out clubbing last night. Lots of young people went into clubs (probably all skimpily dressed, and when it was time to go home the snow had arrived and there were not taxis or buses etc. Several had to stay put or find somewhere warm to stay - bet that soon sobered 'em up! Take care, everyone. Norwich is clear at present but cold. |
