the very first Telly i saw in our house was when i came home from school and the tennis was on.............. was a Mullard set about 4 feet high with a 9 inch screen, and a little panel in the front where the tuning knobs were........ Bob.

the first Tele I saw was the size of a chest of drawers with a tiny screen about 5 X 4, the first tele my dad brought was a 9inch Cosser in 1947-8 it cost £120 I do not know what the equivlent would be nowdays. I remember Muffin the Mule Picture Parade. James
