I was 14 and flying to Alicante with my Grandparents for a week in Benadorm at easter. It was the best holiday ever but my ears popped when we landed (very very painful!!). I'd love to go again, but the memories of the trip are bitter-sweet. Sweet because it was fab but bitter because when I got back to school I found out that one of my best friends had Leukeamia and no-one had bother to let me know! 2 of my other best friends knew during the holidays both had my phone number and 1 lived just down the road from me - I've had to forgive them but I still resent not being told and finding out by accident. *appologieses to Bec for moaning* |

Bec, just be glad you didn't end up in the hold! I'm sure the box was the safest place to be at that age anyway. xx |

It would have been March 2000, had a job interview in Istanbul. Although the flight was no problem, the trip itself was less than memorable and I was glad to get home. |

Went to France on a school trip - took off from a grass field and bounced on landing at the other end Didn't know that wasn't the norm and couldn't accept that we'd actually landed next time I flew as there was no strike the ground and bounce back up again! Jay |

I was 18 1958 to Jersey, I was amazed my parents let me go with my boyfriend, now my husband of nearly 46 years to a guest house (separate rooms and they booked themselves in the same guest house a couple of months later). Ann Glos |
