I love red. I have always drunk with dinner a few glasses. Mainly Australian. Shiraz esp. Can anyone reccomed anything else. Alway's kept away from french but there must be good french wine. Please red wine/ or white (i like that too) what's you favourite? I don't mind it being a bit pricey. catherine xxxxx

Sorry to be un original but I have to agree with Margaret and Joan. I only get that on high days and holidays though. Otherwise it's special offer ones for me. My end of the month wine is Blossom Hill ruby californian and my beginning of the month one would be a hardys shiraz. Drinking Kumala Zenith Merlot Pinotage Shiraz at mo. Half price from £8 down to £4 in tescos and it's really nice. xx

Oh no. I will never drink wine box again. I don't know if it just me, but that stuff makes me sick. Even if it's wine that I have drank from a bottle previously once it's in a box..............well it doesn't bear thinking about. I wonder if it's just me ? I think they put something else in those things.

'Always kept away from French but there must be good French wine' - good heavens, wine is the only thing the French are famous for doing well! I myself like full-bodied fruity reds, Merlot is a fab grape. Nuits Saint Georges is an expensive but good red, though nowadays there's good wine to be had from many countries. I like sauvignon blanc white wines. But nowadays most supermarkets have a great range and lots of info about the taste, so you are unlikely to buy something you don't like. nell

Merlot is very nice. I would say it's my next favourite wine to Shiraz. But there must ne something more. I am going to a spanish place tomorrow and will drink riojca (don't know if spelt right soz) but I like spanish good quality too. x
