I can be at times on certain things. Often told to get a reality check (or as my posh Doctor calls them, cat scans, he's such a snob) but if I think something should be, or I aspire to be, better, is there really anything wrong with that?

I try not to be, but suspect I am, even though I am an Essex Girl! lol Have absolutely nothing to be snobby about though. Tina

depends, when i was looking for my soon to be mine house, yes, i had certain criteia, what i wanted to be near and what I didnt in terms of other housing and etcs. BUT I shop at tesco, and drive an ordinary car, do an ordinary job. yes, i turn my nose up and some people but admire a lot too. i work at a private school- I was a 'nobody' whilst i drove a Renault 5 ( that dates me!) but when i inherited a Merc it was a different story.. Now that IS snobbery - on the school parents part! Jess x

No way Daniel,,no way,real workin class in our house,,but SIL he's a different story,i dont have much time for snobs,if im not good enough,as i am then it's their loss.they could be missing somthing good,but they'll never know

Not sure Daniel , wot is a snob?? served 23 years in the Army and had to do and see stuff that was'nt nice but then always used to try and make an effort to look nice when going out , hated people smoking whilst I was eating but happy to sit at the bar amongst the smog. Always polite but could be angry if pushed , love me cricket but support the Southampton, drink wine but I'm a lager lout in truth!! so am I a snob ????????????????? you tell me

Just checked the definition according to dictionary(.)com:- ''One who tends to patronize, rebuff, or ignore people regarded as social inferiors and imitate, admire, or seek association with people regarded as social superiors. One who affects an offensive air of self-satisfied superiority in matters of taste or intellect.'' So, my answer is no, I am not.
