Polly, Without giving too much away for obvious reasons (& don't worry I'm not planning on descending on you if you do lol.) Do you live anywhere near Lochalsh or Kintail? My ancestors are from there. Apologies, I know Scotland is a big place.

Further north Lesley, see trouble brewing on that other thread............I saw it coming...........GR should employ me to keep these boards tidy......Too far north for Daniel to travel........We do have the Steam train running here...........

Polly We stayed in Lochalsh and Kintail when we first toured the Highlands. We stayed in a converted Manse by the waters edge,it overlooked the Five Sisters. The owners had moved there from South of England,and she was an ex. teacher. Beautiful scenery,we had a marvellous time. Mau x :0)

Really nice evening here Maureen but snow predicted next week, It changes so quickly.....We can watch it coming across the sea.........Could you have Daniel for a couple of days......*pleading* Must go and burn some food, been too busy getting the boat out........
