Hi all, a big thank you for all your support/ pm's etc..... it has been a big help. We rushed my sister in law over from Australia, she had two days with Harry before he died. We have also managed to arrange the funeral for Thursday.... so she will still be here for that. So we feel relieved about that.... it would have been awful for her to have not been here for that. My youngest son [10] is heartbroken, this is the first time he has had to deal with a death of someone he really loved, they were 'best mates'.... but Alex has decided Grandpa is now with his girlfriend Mon [she died last year] so he is not on his own .... aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh. So that seems to be helping him cope. It will be the first funeral Alex has been allowed to go to ... he has said it is like a party for Grandpa, cos we all loved him. Out of the mouths of babes..... BUT we are looking on the positive side.... Harry saw his only daughter before he went.... he was ill for a long time, and said he wanted to go now, because he was tired. It was peacefull... and so is he now. Sue xxx Again... many thanks .... |
