nah Fred, lavender oil is very good for minor burnes. Helps prevent blistering and because of it's antiseptic properties keeps infection at bay. It's one of the few essential oils you can apply directly to the skin without the use of a carrier oil.

I'm amazed you managed to recognise an iron. Have you ever used one? Perhaps not because then you would have realised that an iron left to heat up generally has a flex (that's that long wire thing that stick out of one end) attached to a plug that fixes to a socket where the switch is usually down indicating that the said appliance is on and will indeed be hot. I can see from your post Daniel that you are not use to working. If you were then you would know that you have to; Stop & read the Health & Safety sheet before you enter The Work Area Sign the Visitors book (in case of fire) Make sure you are aware of your nearest fire exit. Ensure that you know who the 'First Aid Personal ' are A 'risk assesment' must be carried out before you contemplate the job in hand. I feel that you must be in breach of all of the above. You will now need to seal off the complete area until the Health & Safety Excutive has made a full report of his findings. That should only take about 6 months to complete & big wad of Tax payers money!. See easy when you know how!

Daniel make sure you fill in the accident book, fill in a form or whatever. I think to sue you would have to prove loss of earnings or substantial scarring. The firm might offer you some compensation if you make a fuss. By the way I saw your article in family tree magazine well done. I know what you look like now.
