Dear frankie was about a single mum bringing up her son alone. His father was an evil B, anyway the boy didn't know this and the mum kept writing letters pretending to be the dad who was supposed to be in the navy. The letters were from all the places the dad was supposed to have gone. In the end the mum paid a man to pretend to be Frankies father and visit them. The real father died in the end and the pretend dad got very fond of Frankie. It was really sad.
