scouse is supposed to be made with lamb......and scousers are called so because of eating this dish,which it turn was named by scandinavian seaman ,as in Skause.

Tell you what we grew WHITE beetroot last year and have jars of it tastes like ordinary red but the colour puts you off - so if you want some just yell Norah ps anyway fancy eating beetroot with stew - never heard the like
