Sorry to bring a downer on things, but could I ask for some thoughts for my sons' friend please. He was stabbed 4 times last night and is in intensive care on a life support machine. I've come back from Cardiff to find that this has happened and have spent much of today at hospital.He was trying to get out of a party and a woman attacked him with a knife.What on earth is going on in this world! His mother lives in Devon, so he's had no-one but us, who couldn't be with him as we're not family!! and it's heartbreaking and I dont know what to do but ask for some crossed fingers from you all. |

Thanks Anne and Jean, his name is Paul and he has had a terrible upbringing, but spent a lot of time with us, which is why I am finding this really hard. He's only 22, but had to deal with a lot. There were party's everywhere last night for the football, he picked the wrong one to go to. We got back from Cardiff in the early hours to find our street sealed off, but I didn't find out till 10am.Police wouldn't say what was going on,found out through a neighbour. I'm trying to keep my mind off things till I get any news. |

I know I can rely on you all here to help and I thank everyone!! I feel so awful because we we're away at football and left them here, even though the're 'adults', but they are still 'our' babies and we should have been. Just hearing she was a junkie,what is it with these people? I hope Paul is not going to be tarred with the same brush as these boys are so against that sort of life (seeing it first hand in some cases). |
