I have prescription anti-inflammatries (sp?) at home. Will also get some Nurofen after work... can sort of ease the pain by sitting on my foot but can only sit on one at a time. |

bec dont take those antiinflamatorys with nurofen, cos nurofen is an antiinflamatory, and they give you stomach probs, its the iburporfen in them, my daughter made a mistake taking both, i didnt know, but she complained of bad pains in stomach , sickness, i asked what she took she told me, the doctor had to give her anti sickness stuff, she was lucky, ask your pharamacist what you can take take paracetamol i belive with antiinflamtrys, as for xrays i was told athristis type pain doesnt show up on them, i hope your knees are ok soon, its awful the pain isnt it |

Heels hun ................. Keep away from staggeringly high heels (also bad for your pelvis and can in turn prevent pregnancy) Tip 2 - if you wear different shoes every day - try not to go from a flat to a high stilletto in one fell swoop - try to graduate up or down day by day :O))) |

Dad paid over £400 for me to have numerous blood tests but nothing was found. Problem is they're not even particularly swollen or hot to touch... yet to me they feel stiff and like they're on fire. |

Hi Bec, sorry you are in pain today. I have osteoarthritis in both knees and one has started sort of giving way sometimes, and is too painful to put pressure on when I go upstairs. Had an xray recently and results came back no abnormalities shown - oh, great help that was. I was recommended by the rheumatologist to take glucosamine, 1500 mg a day - I always get them when H 7 B have a special offer on then I stock up - and also ginger tablets as they help with this problem. I have a tilted womb and have been told in the past that it was not helped by wearing high heels, so Bec, when you are flaunting those gold ones, make sure you sit down a lot, maybe a high bar stool where you can dangle one shoe off your foot a bit, supposed to be very sexy and provocative !!! Are we still seeing you on Saturday? hope so. Liz x |

Stop spending to much time on your knees ? lol Seriously... sounds like some sort of inflamation, like athiritis perhaps (don't laugh, people of all ages can get it). My dads had a lot of problems with it recently, I'll ask him what, if anything, helped. Paul xx |

Bec try acupuncture - I've found that when conventional medecine fails either diagnosis or effective treatment then a more hollistic approach often works. xxx virtually rubbing your knees for you xxx |
