Morning All Every year i try and do something for cancer research. So last night i had a think and came up with this idea (no i'm not lobbing meselfe out of a plane again lol) SCRAP GOLD yes thats right SCRAP GOLD i had a hunt around last night and found 5 broken chains 3 lonly earinngs and a squished ring. Then i thought you lot might have some too, if i can get a Troy ounce =33.6 grams On Ebay it should make between £300 - £400 i will then transfer the money over to one of you lot to make the donation on behalf us all. Your thoughts on the idea please Steve >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Can all those that want to join in please pm me just put ebay in the title please and i will contact you. Steve

Good idea steve but the weight of gold isnt that simple- you cant just get the different pieces of jewellry together, stick them on a scale and calculate the equivalent- its the quality of gold that matters- some items are 9ct gold ,some 22 ct,some 24 ct.....
