A suggestion - only one or two accounts allowed per email address or IP address (maybe 4 per IP) and include banned accounts in that. Makes it easier to stop people joining just for the heck of it.

Hi Elaine Yes there will be a small annual fee for full membership due to costs of buying server space and bandwidth to host it. Hope to get it up and running very soon hun Steve

Steve, If there is a 'Chat' board -- please make it an auto-refresh type like Mags said. A 'Links' page might be useful -- to go to any associated musical freeware/shareware stuff, or audio players (eg Real Player, Winamp), or other music associated websites. Al *goes hunting around other sites to find tips*

Al I am thinking of using real time chat ie not boards i have have a data base of free music software links mate a links page will be added Steve

Maybe you will let us all know if you feel that the site would need 'testing' before it goes 'worldwide'. Maybe if you have a 'trial run' - free of charge !!, we can give you some last minute problems to solve, or extra idea's that might help etc etc. Wishing you the very best with it ... I'll be keeping an eye open for it - coming from a very musical family ! - I'll also let the family know of it's existance when your open for business ! Elaine ;-)

to add to what Mags said earlier...like on the old chat rooms etc you were able to ban'annoyance' people for an hour or even a day or two....that might be worth looking at for unwanted or nasty comments on threads etc... Then whoever's posted can monitor their own thread...
