I saw lasts nights fiasco I wouldn't worry about it Elaine ( both the Elaine's) you know who it was trying to set the rot. Only to be expected from them. Even thicko me saw that he /she got 2 names put them together to try and cause an upset. Matlock I like Matlock when we lived in Derby we used to take the kids to Riber Zoo a cheap day out in those days. Germaine x

Blimey Germaine, That was a while ago .... They are knocking down Riber :-((((((((( Make way for a housing complex. Petition went to the House of P, I believe we lost the fight. Radio Derby have a name changing thingy on their website in December ... you put your name in and it throws up the Xmas Version ... I love to play, I'm a big kid at heart ... :-) Elaine ;-) THANKS Pheonix x

Ah that is so sad no Riber. Yes was a long while ago. We came home in wait for it 1977!!!. Still remember it though we used to take a picnic and stay nearly all day. Now I remember therer was a big aviary and in it a vulture. Our David was about 3 and we went through this sort of gate way and this bird flew down towards us David was carrying a stick and he jumped at this bird waving his stick to frighten if off . Poor mite thought it was coming at us eveyone laughed at him Davids little stick wouldn't have stopped it. More houses ! we will hav eno country side left at this rate. germaine x

Germaine, I really feel so angered about it. I might end up chaining myself to the perimeter fence in protest ... but I haven't got the grit it would take. Crich I remember that too. When we came home my Dad said what am I going to do for my holidays now. When they used to come to us we went allover the place. I remember Alton Towers without a funfair. Loved it that way just lots of lovely walks. Germaine x

Elaine, I know what you mean about changing name. There are far too many Pauls too. At work, its ever worse for me - I work for a global company and we have about 18 Paul Smiths in our email address book, I think I've had mail for virtually all of them at one point or another, hardly a day goes by... I've joked about changing my name on here before... we did come up with one at one point... Levi. because I like teh name and I have a few of them in my tree lol Paul (or maybe Levi ? lol)

There are two of us Mags that are prominent! Mags from Bristol and Mags Mcshane (me) we are not the same person, but are both equally nice. I promise. Well Mags from Bristol is lovely! LOL

Hold on a minute .... I remember being asked years ago ... by a close friend ... why had I changed my name ?? I hadn't changed my name at that point ..... and said as much ... but I never asked why they asked me !... cos we were on Record Office at that time, and I didn't know about this board ...
