Nudging for the night shift!! ;o)

Just been on the phone to my restorer. He says my hat had old newspaper in it! Sadly only the bottom half so no date, but from the articles featured I should get a good idea of the time. He reckons 1930's. I'll have mine back in time for next year, so gents, have you got your's?

I saw this thread this morning but thought it said this years, which I can't go to. I would love to go next year though - never been before. What are prices like then? Anna x

Lots of possibilties for next time, but this year's option included this: The new Grandstand at Ascot has over 270 private boxes that overlook the track. The Grandstand is gently curved in plan with boxes throughout the building. Some are positioned close to the track past the winning post with a ‘head-on’ view, whilst others are before the winning post so the horses race past them to the finish. Each box consists of a private dining room with a large flat screen television, a balcony overlooking the track and a private kitchen shared with the adjoining box. Watchfromabox.com has a private box available on Friday 23rd June for Royal Ascot. The box is situated on level 4 just 200m from the winning post and has a capacity of 12 for a sit down meal or 18 for a buffet. The package includes: General admission tickets and box badges 1 Car park label per couple Full hospitality throughout the day The cost is £795 +VAT per person based on a minimum of 12 guests. This time next year horses RACING. However it might clash with tennis. Can't understand 2 grown adults hitting a ball back and forth.
