6 ice cubes shake of Angustura Bitters 1 measure of Pimms No 1 various chopped fruit (small pieces) top up with lemonade decorate rim with whole slices of fruit add cocktail cherries on cocktail sticks and add a straw and mint (or borrage) place glass on a small plate with a seviette and fork serve This was how I was taught to make a Pimms when I was making cocktails. Takes me back to when we worked in a pub in the 60's Viv. Pimms Nos. 1 and 5, were all the rage then, and what a pain it was to make them, especially when there was a rush on. Those and snowballs.....always took time...... |

I hated making Snowballs and Harvey Wallbangers. Also used to make Tequilla Sunrise, Blue Lagoon, Brandy Alexander, Champagne Cocktail, Zombie, Pina Colada and Whisky Sour and a lot of others I can't remember now. My favourite to drink was the Brandy Alexander. |

We used to play around with the liqueurs and spirits and make up our own cocktails......those were the days,,,,,,,it was quite affordable then...... |
