Yes, I've got 5 different bags/boxes plus 2 compost bins in the garden! We usually have a monthly trip to the 'dump' for recycling items which aren't collected. |

problem here is on the recycling front is that it occurs fortnightly so 1. your normal rubbish bin sits for a fortnight in the hot weather and with a normal size household cannot contain a fortnights rubbish which results in maggots and the fact that if the rubbish is not in the bin then it will not be taken . ( if that makes sense ) 2. You are given green bins for cans, glass newspapers and cardboard etc, but if the cardboard is as thick as a soap powder box they will not take it , which means you then have to ring up the council to get another vehicle to call and collect that cardboard. 3. I live 2 miles away from a refuse site but because I live 100 yards outside the council boundary I have to drive 15 miles to my council refuse depot . Oh yes bring on common sense please Twizzle |

Yes, everything that can be: cardboard/paper, plastic bottles, tin cans, glass etc. We also have a compost bin and use it for all the peelings, teabags, eggshells, garden waste. Anything that can't be recycled we try to find extra uses for so it isn't wasted - and if we can't find a practical use then it goes to the junk modelling box for the kids. Angela |

I take all my old newspapers into school to be used to cover tables then they recycle them and I put garden waste in the compost bin. Old wine bottles go to the recycling bin in Sainsbury's carpark Ali x |
