There WAS such a programme as Romper Room. It had simple childrens activities, a story and songs, and at the end of it, Rosemary, the presenter, would hold up her magic mirror and say 'I can see....' and list different names. I remember being thrilled to bits when she said she could see me. Also when there was a song, she had all the children shouting 'Please Mr Music, will you play?' It wasn't just shown in Scotland either, I lived in Cambridgeshire.

If you all liked these favourites then you'll love the website: www(.)tv.cream(.)org It has some of all the old theme tunes for these programmes!!! I loved parsley the Lion too....he was in The Herbs..brilliant tv!!! Also loved Larry the Lamb.....lllaaaaaaarrrrrryyyyy thhhhheeee laaaammmbbbb!!!! But my bestest favourites were button moon(fairy bottle rocket!), Rad Dolly Anna(dress maker's dolly), Chorlton and the Wheelies(fenella the witch!), the flumps, fraggle rock, terrahawks (hated zelda!), Willow the wisp and the also the Pink windmill!!! RDA.x.

OMG its childrens hour on the BBC and the Ovaltinees. Plus Archie Andrews and Max Bygraves altho they were more my teenage years. THANKS now i really feel old!!!
