He was in their interpretation of Les Miserables and really missed it towards the end.

You're spot on there! He belonged to the local AmDram society.

Well often there is two meanings. Can't get what his job would have been. I keep getting marching and acting but that must be with someone else.

You could be right there but I have a feeling that the 'square' ref: is more likely to do with his job. It was important to him.

oh and the hangliding and medieval re-enactments mean for them to do something wild and outlandish. Whatever takes their fancy. It will do them a world of good. I feel there is something a bit out of the extraordinary they have always wanted to try.

Well I think that was the 'square' reference lol. I won't ask who.. They need to get themselves out more. Life is passing them by. He enjoyed the outdoors and he wants them to also. Long time dead he is saying.

Is someone around you being a boring stick in the mud?

OK Louise. Leave it for now - you must be exhausted. I'll give the lance some thought meanwhile. Thanks. No to the Lakes although there are family connections but a definite no to hand gliding.

Did he like the Lake District and hang gliding?

Was he in one of these battle renactment groups or interested in knights ?

Just Jill x Report 25 Jul 2006 15:43

He may have had to defend himself. I've no means of knowing. I rather suspected that perhaps he had but can't prove it.

Unknown

Unknown Report 25 Jul 2006 15:42

I feel he had to defend either himself or somone in the family at one stage in his life.
