Yvette, My trip was wonderful, thanks. My new uncle was terriffic for 85, we share a birthday this Thursday!! I came back with so many photos, my mother's school reports and loads more, goodness knows how they all survived over the years. I will be writing a 'book' about my search and all the info/stories I have been told. Sue Hiya David ))):

I know what you mean Yvette! I work 80%. A friend of mine was telling me all about the work she'd been doing on her family tree, so I thought I'd start ours, THEN I discovered the lovely people on these boards and ...... I only come on here in the evenings and for a little while at weekends, but I thoroughly enjoy myself. Often wish I only worked part time though, but I suppose you can't have it all. I don't often post anything - not got much imagination - but I love reading, and sometimes adding to, other people's threads. See you 'around'. Margaret
