Can I make a recommendation on a book for you guys to read next? My Best Friend's Girl (Paperback) by Dorothy Koomson Its chick lit, an easy read and had me laughing, crying and screaming at the words on the pages. xx

Thanks Ann, yes ,I have read the other two, but now realise I should have done the review as soon as I'd finished them on Word ! rather than wait - little did I know that this would be such a learning curve:0))) - I'll go and do that in a minute. See you Thursday Jen x

jennifer, did you read any of the others. if so write reviews on what you read, including the bit you read of Lady C. Then post tthose on Thursday when I put up the review thread. meanwhile be looking for 2 ordinary booka and one classic to sugest on the September thread when I put it up, also on Thursday. Lady C is hard going I agree, not finished it yet. Ann Glos

Hellllllllllllppppppppp!! Have given up on Lady C Lover - it was like pulling teeth - will re try again in another decade perhaps but in the meantime what do i do now ----- newbie at this - cant you guess! Jen x

Well folks, I have been good this month, read all three books, well with no college I have had the time Am trying hard to come up with something for next month, need to get my brain in gear before the end of the week ;-)))

Sorry, it was Ottakers Lorraine. But not such a bargain as I have just realised that I had already bought the Island and it was in a pile of ready to read. I thought I ahd checked them all too. Anyone not got it yet as i now have two copies. Ann Glos

right, all set. i have lady C ordered at the library and have bought the other two books on a buy three get one free, so they cost £5 each. Might sell them on Amazon or somewhere when i have read them Ann Glos

Thats great - just sent hubby to library to see if any where available - got The Highest Tide in so i ll start that tonite. LCL is coming by the weekend and I cant get The Island at all. Does anyone have any ideas where else i can get hold of a copy cheap.

As I'm a newbie here........! We read The Island - Victoria Hislop Highest Tide - Jim Lynch Lady C Lover - DH Lawrence by 31st August then review. Have I got that right? Jen x
