Thanks Joy + Joy Don't whether to cry or laugh hysterically ........ It is just like re-living all what happened last year with Mum, Dad has said to-day that if it is bad news he ain't having any treatment afetr what happened to Mum ( heart attack hours after her first chemo) So why the devil are we going for test after test result after result if he ain't going to bother with treatment????? Well It will be Tuesday now before we know anything so I'm going to keep busy and not worry if Dad isn't bothered either way then I'm not either Joanne

Well the hospital telephoned yesterday and asked Dad to come at 9.30 this morning ( he never picked the message up) I have tried to call them at 4.45pm today but no-one was there, don't look too good, he had his CT scan last week and already they are calling him back. I know I need to be positive about this but can't as I have a feeling that the cancer has spread ..... BUT he doesn't look ill, his weight is fine, infact he has put all his weight back on that he laost after his op last September. Please think of my Dad, I think we are going to need lots of pray's right now Joanne

Maddie mate, I am sure your mum was with you both in the waiting room and hope your dad gets the results through soon, and he won't be so bad as you thought. Stay strong, early days yet but time will ease your pain, little by little. Liz

Thankyou so much, I feel pretty down at the moment as too many memories came flooding back and I thought I had turned a corner only recently - but perhaps I wasn't ready to turn the corner so quickly after losing Mum.

Its miserable when you have to go back to the same place, you can't help but re-live what has happened before......but I do hope that your Dad's news is positive.......

Been for scan ( just like I did with Mum last year - a week before I lost her ) Sat in the exact same waiting room, hard to have to sit there and remember back just over a year, Mum was in having her scan for nearly 30 mins ( never did get results as she passed away and I have never wanted to know them ) This time Dad went in and was out in less than 10 mins - I'm taking that as a positive, that it was all ok and they couldn't see anything, will have to wait for results to find out if they caught Dad's before it spread. Thanks for all our positive thoughts - Joanne xx
