THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO AS MAILED ME REGARDING THE DEATH OF MY DAD AFTER JUST FINDING HIM IN MARCH AND NOT GETTING THE CHANCE TO MEET HIM. YOURS EMAILS MEAN ALOT TO ME THANKYOU XX IF ANYONE CAN SHARE A SIMILAR STORY WITH ME I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IT MIGHT HELP ME GET THROUGH THIS . I FOUND MY DAD IN MARCH , AFTER 20 YRS WE SPOKE ON THE PHONE EVERY WEEKEND AND I WAS DUE TO MEET HIM THIS WEEKEND BUT THE POLICE CAME TO TELL ME HE DIED I CANT BELIVE IT. I WENT TO HULL TO THE RESR ROOMS AND SAW HIM FOR THE FIRST TIME IT WAS HOW I EXPECTED IT BUT AT LEAST I GOT TO SEE HIM IM SO LOW RIGHT NOW I CANT BELIVE IT FROM A HEARTBROKEN DAUGHTER XX |

Hi lyndsey. Just wanted to say how sorry I am that you had such a sad end to your story. Try to take some comfort in the fact that your Dad also wanted to make contact with you, so like you he would have been over the moon to have found you again. I lost my Dad last year so I do understand in part the pain you are going through. However, you have a whole new family to discover now, so keep going and don't give up. (((((hugs))))) |

No Lyndsey, it most certainly is NOT bad of you, you were not ready to say goodbye so soon. You can visit his grave whenever you are ready to. Please don't beat yourself up over any of this. Try to remember the joy you felt when you first got in touch with him, he will have felt the same way. |

Lyndsey, So very sorrry to hear about your sad loss. i am sure that your Dad was overjoyed to have found you and be in contact with you. Of course it was not bad of you not to go to the funeral, after the shock of losing him so soon after finding him you were not ready.
