Lol webster results are in, son just called i wont say how many A's he got incase others did'nt do as well, but he has got into Art Collage Whooooooooooo Hoooooooooo Hope the rest did as well and got what they needed Sxx |

thanks, mines going to do A levels in maths, higher maths, physics & computing at 6th form college. He wants to go to Uni at the end of it to do something with computing. |

Mines off to Durham Art Collage to study fine art and art and design. But a sad note his best mate (they have been mates since play school) was going to do the same course as the boy failed his GCSE's today So its a mixed feelings day happy for the bot sad for his best mate. Sxx |

I guess there will be some sad stories, but my best friends son has re-sat his GCSEs and has found out today he has the grades to start A levels in Sept. Even if it takes an extra year it is still worth it in the end. |

steve, it is sad when you know kids who dont get what they wanted, especially if their friend do, but as viv said it is not the end of the world, he can re sit or do a foundation course in art maybe to get onto coures he wants...wish him all the best i also wanna wish all the best to the lad in my sons class who had an accident a couple of weeks ago and is in hospital, last i heard he was in a coma....GCSE results dont seem all that important after all....get well mate |
