It is with deep regret that I would inform the many friends on this site of our friend Alfie, that sadly he lost his fight today against his illness. Although he knew his illness was terminal, he remained his cheekfy cheerful self, and was courageous to the end. Please join with me and his friends on the TYFH site in sending sympathy and condolences to his loving wife Babs and to his family and close friends. We'll never forget you Alfie. Norah |

I am so very sorry to read this, but thank you for telling us. Alfie certainly is, I mean was, oh I can't think of the right words. He's lovely. Always made me smile in ''chat'' in TYFH. Rest in peace, Alfie. My very sincere sympathies to Babs. |

Thank you Norah for letting us know this sad news, it must have been very difficult for you. Please give my sincere condolences to Babs and the family. I had the privilege of sitting with Alfie and Babs at a meet, and they were both such lovely people. I'm so sorry that Alfie has lost his courageous fight, but he is now at peace. Love Mandy xx |

Hi Norah Alifie always put a smile on my face and was a great person who was kind, caring and always ready to cheer you up with his wit and sense of humor. Its a great loss, but hopefully now, he is pain free and at peace. Deepest Condolences go out to his wife Babs, family & friends. Nichola. |
