many years ago, on a sunday morning, there was a teach yourself yoga series on television, and i would lay on the bed, and practice the breathing and meditation techniques, when suddenly i found myself looking down on my body laying on the bed, it really shook me up, and somehow i came out of it, turned off the television, and never watched the programme again. bryan.

The opinion voiced by Big Jules is called 'pathological disbelief'. He is of the ilk capable of saying 'Even if it was true, I wouldn't believe it'. It's almost like a religious creed where you have to conform on pain of being consigned to the flames of hell (a medieval myth). With some scientist, to admit to the paranormal would be an admission of error - which is very difficult for scientists and politicians. However, with the advent of quantum mechanics and ongoing research, they are already practicing their U-turns. The paranormal is not hard to prove, it is just hard to get it accepted in Western culture. However, slowly but surely physicists are getting there; there are a lot of strange things being discovered in the cosmos. len
