ButtercupFields Report 7 Dec 2006 17:36

Puss, when I first joined here many moons ago, I read the Boards for SIX MONTHS!! before I ventured a comment...lol...by that time I had a fair idea of what was expected, protocol, manners, etc. Maybe it is good advice. Haddock was quite right in her thread. It is what we all feel. She is as straight forward as the day is sweet, and usualy puts into words what I am far too lazy to do! BC formerly Buttercup Fields....XX

Puss I made my comment of 'bye' on Suzanne's thread 1) because I get fed up at all of this drama queen stuff, and 2) because it seemed that her thread was aimed at me.......which was later confirmed by the message you sent me from her. My thread was aimed at all members, and I cannot be held reponsible for the fact that she took it personally. I have still not had a satisfactory explanation as to why Suzanne thought I was having a dig at her.

Paul Report 7 Dec 2006 16:51

I'm only going to add one more thing to this stupid row today, because frankly its all really tedious. Why is it, that the supposed hurt feelings of a newbie are once again seen to be far more important than the feelings of an established and well liked member ? No, I'm not trying to say that newbies aren't welcome - of course they are. I make no excuse for favouring people I know (human nature I think) - they've earned that trust. But I've been chatting all afternoon to someone who is a relative newbie, and is now a good friend. We were all newbies once, we all felt a little out of place, and we all had to learn to fit in, not throw a wobbly at the first sign of something we didn't like. In my mind, If I joined a new site, I'd spend a while getting used to the way things worked, not wade in and tell them all they were doing it wrong, as I've often seen on here. I'm rambling, so I'll shut up now. Thank you... and goodnight.

You have not bought the boards down Puss. Don't you DARE think it for a minute. You have the right to say your piece and Suzanne had the right to say hers. We all pay the same membership. AND as for goading !!!! LOL!!!! I see LOTS going on - on many threads at the moment.
