Love is unconditional, eternal and dosen't need to be constantly declared. Love is a gentle but firm parent, a respectful but defient child, and a partner who knows you better than you no yourself. Love is a touch that speaks more than a thousand words and can be both comforting and supportive. (Love is never having to say sorry - at least a song says so) |

I can see that and thought that might be the answer, but she could do it for others or even just write generally with Jack's capabilities in mind. There's a big gap in the market for reading material for struggling/late readers. Best wishes to them both - and you of course. Love is - Tears from a 3-year-old big brother visiting day-old baby brother in hospital. ' I know you have to stay here, mummy, but I can't leave my new baby brother behind! PLEASE let me take him home!' |

oh Dizzy, hang on to your Kate she sounds like a very special young lady. I have dyslexia but strugled my way though school and got diagnosed a 17. I would have loved to have been abe to read books like some of my friends as a kid but found that some words made so little seance that the story was better without them! Dispite that I am a quick reader but tend to skim through the page. I currently either read books aimed at teenagers or spend hours trying to read through coloured asitates - My 16 year old brother has always made fun of me because of my dyslexia but it's now water of a ducks back when he does it coz I know he loves me and that he now understands a bit that my brain works differently to his. You never know with time Kate might decide to get the book published and maybe she'll do a few more at some time - I'm sure every dyslexia support teacher would love more liturature resources to use. Love is the 7 / 8 yr old who gets up their crying baby brother (9 - 18 months) at 6:30 am on a sunday morning, feeds, washes his face and changes his nappie (old style towel squares) then entertains him so mum and dad can have a lie in! |

Perhaps love is like a resting place, a shelter from the storm. It exists to give you comfort, it is there to keep you warm. And in those times of trouble when you are most alone, the memory of love will bring you home. Perhaps love is like a window, perhaps an open door. It invites you to come closer, it wants to show you more. And even if you lose yourself and don't know what to do, the memory of love will see you through. - John Denver Susan |

I read this at our daughter's wedding last Saturday, and I think it is just so lovely. The stariway to love is the rainbow bridge to the haven of peace in the halls of gold. For gold symbols the binding power of love, and the quintessence of love's atmosphere. Love is the fragrant atmosphere, rareified and wonderful, that upholds us at all times. Love is mirth, a star, a smile, a flower, a bird singing. Love is the magic web of gold uniting us all. Love is the breath of life inspiring us to arise buoyantly in to the heavenly realms within us. Love is the soul shining, living as a shining sun. Sharing we give love that wipes away the tear. Sharing we spread light that chases away the darkness. Sharing we beget beauty, joy, and the perfume of peace. Sharing we give selfhood to the great love and find the jewel at the heart of the lotus. Love is unfathomable, perfect, endless. Love is the ebb and flow of the eternal ocean of praise. Love is a thought pure as crystal, aromatic with the altar of roses. Love is an angel, a gold memory, a glow in the heart irradiating the here and the hereafter. Love is beauty, beauty love, ensphereing and preserving all things beneath the canopy of the everlasting. Enshrined within the beings inmost casket, love divine doth reign supreme. I just wish there was more love in the world, and less hatred. My prayer for the world is for the men of war to put aside their weapons, and live in harmony side by side. PPP xxx |

Here's some quote's I found: 'Love is the master key that opens the gates of happiness' 'Love has no awareness of merit or demerit; it has no scale...Love loves; this is its nature. 'Where love is, no room is too small' 'To love is to receive a glimpse of heaven' 'Love is like a violin. The music may stop now and then, but the strings remain forever' 'Love doesn't make the world go round, love is what makes the ride worthwhile' 'The best and most beautiful things in this world cannot be seen or even heard, but must be felt with the heart.' 'When you love someone, all your saved-up wishes start coming out' 'Love puts the fun in together, The sad in apart, The hope in tomorrow, The joy in the heart.' 'You don't love a woman because she's beautiful; she is beautiful because you love her.' 'You're nothing short of my everything' 'To laugh often and love much... to appreciate beauty, to find the best in others, to give one's self... this is to have succeeded.' 'To love a person is to learn the song that is in their heart, and to sing it to them when they have forgotten.' 'Love is everything it's cracked up to be. That's why people are so cynical about it...It really is worth fighting for, risking everything for. And the trouble is, if you don't risk everything, you risk even more' 'Once in a while, right in the middle of an ordinary life, love gives us a fairy tale' 'Love me without fear / Trust me without questioning / Need me without demanding / Want me without restrictions / Accept me without change / Desire me without inhibitions.' - that is what love is. 'My love for you is a journey; Starting at forever, And ending at never.' I believe in all of those xxxxx Tara xxxxx A wonderful heart-warming thread :-) |

Love is - lending something you have to a complete stranger, and trusting that they'll bring it back, simply because they need it, as my lovely husband did yesterday. |
