Unlike others on the boards who have dreams my problem is getting to sleep. I've always loved dabbling with rhymes etc but now I find that they keep me awake at nights. Does anyone else have this problem ? Is there a cure ? See my little plea below. Jeff

Oh please my dearest friends on genes Please help me with my plight, I've verses running through my mind And I can't sleep at night. Pray tell me there's an antidote To combat all this verse, I really need to get some help Before things get much worse. One night I started counting sheep But didn't get so fa', A verse kept running through my mind A noisy ba-ba-ba. I've tried reciting ladies names Like Jenny, Jean and Rose, But though they kept the verse at bay My mind was filled with prose. So dearest peeps please rack your brains And come up with a tip, So I can go to bed at night And get a decent kip. Jeff Lol

Lil, I must be getting ancient as I manage without any sleep some nights. As for doing something energetic I don't know what you ladies have in mind Lol. I've also tried deep breathing exercises but the wheezing in my chest also keeps me awake. Probably smoke too much Jeff PMSL

I know what you mean Dragonfly, the thoughts don't leave your head, do they? As for nite nurse Catherine, if I mentioned that to the wife she might take it the wrong way and she might knock me out Lol. She does get mixed up sometimes. Jeff
