Basically it's down to your oven-mine is Italian bottled gas c***.But cheap and cheerful-(hi Mary in Spain)! Whatever recipe you are using depends entirely on the temperature of the oven-not the oven temperature you set it for! That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it !

The Oven's Bl**dy useless Bob, your're lucky fella having huge Yorkies, I'm not going to bother making home made again until I get a new oven, I have bought a big packet mix of Yorkshire pudding mix to try next time. Gillie xx

Re-Electric oven, You just may need a couple of new elements. Take of the shelves and see if the sides will come off and get your hubby to have a look to see if the elements come out by unscrewing a small plate that holds your elements in. Elements in my cooker can be replaced very easily(I do it myself) Suexxxxxxx

Not yet Penny, I haven't been to mum's to get it yet, I will do it this week, I haven't had to cook anything else in the oven that needs to be so precise for heat, I'll let you know the outcome. Gillie xx Sue it's not that sort of cooker, it wasn't an expensive oven, it comes with a grill come oven, depending on what you want to cook/ switch it to, the element is in the top like a grill.
