Ann - don't pass out with shock lol but when I read Lady of Hay about 15 years ago (I think!) I loved it too !! Would you believe I couldn't get the Joanne Harris book today - not on the shelf and the library computer system was down, so couldn't order it either. Not amused ! Maz. XX

Jill in France and TOR have not said that they have seen this so I will nudge it up again. Maz, that is the trouble with having popular books chosen. Fancy us liking the same book, wow! I am hoping to be able to get into town tomorrow to see if I can pick up Emma in a charity shop. It is a Jane Austen I don't have, typical! Kaz, glad you have returned to us thank you for your PM. Managed to get gentlemen and players from a charity shop (£2) this morning, couldn''t find emma so, as I have already read Lady of Hay I will just read one this month. Ann Glos

I have been to the Library today and there is not one library in Cardiff that has Lady from Hey by Barbara Erskine in their stock.. It looks like it's out of print. Love Maisie x

Just checked Maisie, Gloucestershire has 3 copies but they are all out on loan. Why not try for gentlemen and Players then. Ann Glos

Just wondering if everyone has managed to get hold of the books this month OK? I am taking Gentlemen and players on holiday with me, will leave it there so must remember to review it while I am there. will speak to you all on 16th March Review day (I get home on 15th March). Ann Glos

that always seems to be the problem with books we choose, they are the popular ones. The annoying thing is that I have often seen Emma in charity shops and not bought it. But having visited all the charity shops in Gloucester on Saturday (at least 7 of them), I couldn't find it anywhere. So was really pleased to find Gentlemen and players. Lady of Hay is an old book, you might find it in a charity shop, worth looking. Ann Glos
