I haven’t been on here much in the last week, but thought I’d pop in to say hello late last night when I got in from the pub. I saw that there had been some argument, but as I didn’t know what it was about I decided to stick to fun threads with Jilly, Em and Jupee. But the eejits still tried to cause trouble for us. Viz (Kim) was particularly vile I thought. What on earth has happened to her? She used to be so nice and well liked. Yet she kept posting saying that the fun threads were sh*t……her words, not mine. And Errol then tried to cause a kerfuffle by saying we were being racist when we were only trying to lighten the mood……we didn’t fall into your blatant trap though did we Errol? And of course all of the blind followers had to join in with their two pennorth! So I can only assume that I must be guilty be association. Because I am of the same mind as people such as David, Lynda, Mandy etc, that must make me fair game……even if I haven’t been involved in the latest disagreement. Well, you just go right ahead with your silly games, but I am not going anywhere.

Hmmmmm....It's getting very predictable now Jeanette isn't it.... Apparently i am one of 'Them' - whatever that means..???? lmao... I am, in fact, a free spirit, who occasionally (due to having a hectic 'real' life') looks in to see whats going on in the world of Gr, have a chat, unwind, have a laugh, cry with you all, pray with you all....... If i happen to log on to see someone unnessesarily attacked i will speak out, i don't like to see it...simple as that! LOU XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Yes I noticed that viz was swearing if it had been anyone else they would have reported them. No what it is Jeanette if you speak your mind and tell the truth then your a bully..And they come out of the woodwork to have a go but as I have said I wont run into a corner and cry, If they are wrong Ill say they are wrong Take Care Linda

I wasn't around last night, in fact I am not around much lately. And, reading the threads this morning, I didn't miss much. What I really find offensive is the division on the General Board. Them and Us. And to be shoved into a certain category because one 'speaks' to one group or another, and then to be ostracised because of this. It is getting tiresome. I am not in any clique or camp. I cut the crusts off my own bread. I make my own decisions. BC

Jeanette Was in bed when you came on the board lat night/this morning but have read the FUN threads and PERSONALLY think you should come on more often with you.Jilly and Mcanne having FUN. FUN FUN FUN is what is needed on the board not all the problems(because of this) as I do not post that often now and I have been a member for nearly 4 yrs. Take no notice of other people as you are a great person to know having met you a few times. Suexxxxxxx

This is the third thread in as many minutes that I have said, please let it go, yo are not doing yourself any favours by keeping this thread on the board. carry out the arguement privately janet

Hi Jeanette I was accused of being a bully last night - not by the person whose thread I was on, but by somebody who just jumped on the bandwagon. This person also accused one of our very nice members last week of bullying (which was laughable) so he obviously has a 'thing' about bullying, and I have to say that the word is greatly over- and misused. So I posted a genuine thread asking if people really saw me as a bully. I got some very interesting and constructive replies. It seems that a lot of people scream 'bully' just when someone speaks their mind or is honest. Other people will just pounce on you regardless. You mentioned Kim, I too wondered what had happened because she is becoming increasing rude and abusive. As for Errol, well enough said! Mandy :) x

i agree BC.... I am not part of any groups, only the GR board as a whole...I am not one of 'Them' or one of 'us', i am Lou, The toothfairy, and i will continue to speak my own mind.... Where have all the laughs gone??? Where has all the support gone....? It's a real shame when people like Jeanette, who try to stay on the happy threads, get dragged down to bicker.... 'Bully' is definitely not a word I would use to desribe you. Fair minded and forgiving you most certainly are though

Lol Mandy......!! That is always a good one isn't it?? To accuse someone of being 'racist'...I still tell the tale to my friends of the time i was accused of being racist on here, how we laugh.....!! I hate the different camps 'idea' as well. We're all members here,there are no leaders.I thought we had a common bond Family History! Not about scoring points off each other! I hate to see unhappy members feel they need to leave here. Yes I know some folk have been through nasty times on here,but like everyone says whoever has been targetted can you please keep it off the boards? We sympathise with you all, but ,remember there are some people who are on their own and 'cyber world' can be a lonely place to be. Hi Mau I can see where you're coming from, but this was done on the boards for everyone to see. Jilly, Em and myself were even accused of coming back with the sole purpose of causing trouble. I've only been missing for a week, and Jilly and Em have been posting on and off all of the time. Besides that, we were trying to lighten the mood with a bit of fun which is, I believe, what the majority are asking for

I do agree that the divisions on this board are quite marked and must be very off putting to members who don't know the history. I just find it very difficult to keep stum when people are nasty to others by twisting the truth to suit their own ends. I have tried to distance myself to a degree and keep off threads I have a problem with... but I'm me and unfortunately sometimes engage keyboard before brain especially when I see what I think is injustice. Sometimes wonder if the demon drink comes into play in the early hours. Jean x.

Hi Lou :) I noticed that your name was dragged into something along with mine! I've said this before and no doubt I will get boring and say it again...and again...and again...but there are many people who mistake outspokenness and honesty for bullying. Jeanette, my friend :) What disgusted me particularly, was that it was Jilly who started off the fun/nonsense and who on these boards needs fun more than Jilly at the moment?? Give the girl a standing ovation, she can laugh at whatever she likes as far as I'm concerned! Mandy :)

Jeanette Yes we will have to meet up again and have some FUN. BC Thought you did dance of the 7 veils round the BBQ when we had a thread up about Ilkley Moor bah'tat. They were FUN threads if we could all bring those threads back to the board then people would be having a laugh.
