THEY SHOULD MAKE TV COMMERCIALS LIKE THIS NOT THE CRAP ONES WE GET,GREAT SITE FOR THE HOUSE BOUND AND SICK,im surrounded by kids all day love them all but i find this site so rewarding as well it helps in so many ways its one big happy friendly family reunited but spread afar,no one ever feels like a stranger,love to all from tasmania(once from somerset uk) |

Talking about colour PP.....I would like you to know that I am a browny beige with pink patches and darker pink in bits fading to a lightish whitey-beige......for those of you who use DMC on the cross-stitch....I am... 842, 3782,950, 948, 844,644 and have been know to be 612 in high summer....have 3032 hair at the moment but hope to get back to 712 when I can wash the dye out..... |

You have it in a Nutshell Jan. I have been a member for three years next week, and I'm no where near perfect. When I first joined I was at my lowest ebb, GR members have helped me get over my problems. I still lapse into my deppresive mode every now again, but I know there is always someone to help pull me round again. I have made some wonderful friends on here and hoping to meet some more members in a few weeks time. Jenny x |

Oh Liz, if it wasn't for the fact I know my oh has only just one sister, I would have thought you're oh was his brother!!! lol He is constantly moaning about wasting my time on here talking to my cyber friends!!! I then point out the snippets of excellent information I have gleaned from here and the support I had from you lovely people when my Father died and he shuts up! Does annoy me though that I have to justify my use of the computer and chatting to friends on here to him! (although he has begun to weaken a little...) Dad or what!? lol What will I do when he retires....have to spend my time in the library on their computers for some peace!!! Nanna-Moo ;-)) |

Nanna-Moo, you are so right, mine is definitely a miserable old git. He thinks chatting with friends is a waste of time, from him who spends lots of his life asleep in his reclining chair!! I know where I would rather be. |
