good luck and mind you dont slip into the lake. lol Used to be a regular day out for us when we were little. Often took the dog for a run around the lake.

I'm doing it too.... I will be walking aswell as my neck prevents me from jogging around. But I think it's a great opportunity to give something back so to speak My Mum didn't suffer from cancer but many of out closest family and friends have done, she always supported our local hospice and that is why I am doing it for my Mum. Ha ha ha McAnne!!!! Is that Father's Day? A friend of mine is (running) that day, she's training on chocolate fingers, I think.....no, she completed ok last year. Good luck to you!

Good luck to you too Gaynor :O)) I am walking as I walk better than I run lol - plus I am suffering with bursitis in my right hip just now so even walking is a chore but i will do it lol Just got back from my first 'training session' - walked briskly for 20 mins .............. oooooh my calf muscles got a shock LOL

WOW !! Less than 48hours since I registered and have already increased my fundraising target several times :O))))

No training tonight cos I have slimming club - was going to walk but the weather is lousy and I will need to get back sharpish for my meal lol Fundraising is going great guns after such a short time - have been round nearly all the guys at work and haven't had many declines - even emailed all the other branch managers in the region that I talk to - only did it late this afternoon but have one pledge from that already :O))) Off out tomorrow afternoon as it's my birthday - so training will be - walking off a lunch treat round Bluewater lolol

Evening nudge Didn't go to Bluewater after today - but we walked around Maidstone for a good few hours - does that count as training ??? LOL Fundraising target still rising :O)))

Please drink lots ladies, he spends most of his time picking up you poor ladies who forget!!!!! he thinks its quite funny but AVOIDABLE Last year they call 4 ambulances to his race Take care Ladies and well done

Oh wow !!! Just checked my fundraising page - my Dad's half cousin in Australia has sponsored me :O))) I have never met him - just made contact thru doing this - I am so chuffed - it really means a lot when someone like that puts their support behind you ..................
