Hi Bubbles Sorry things did not work out for you this time. You have had some very good things said to you. Your mum and PP have got it wright. Put your heart in your pocket, see if he rings, if not learn from it, Brush yourself down and carry on. You seem a nice person and Mr Wright is out there. Your know when you meet him he is right for you. Never say never and never give up. Don't know what you look like but looks are only skin deep it's what the person is like what matters, and like it's been said by others you seem a nice person so it won't be long befor you meet Mr Wright. Bubbles, sorry hon you were disappointed - I am sure we have all been there at some time (or often lol like me, have a wardrobe of tshirts). Be a bit cool if he does get in touch, until you find out the reason, if it is genuine then give him another chance but take things slowly, and if he doesn't call, put it down to experience and don't be scared to try again with someone else. Lots of nice fellas around, your turn will come. I have a lovely son of nearly 25, who is footloose and fancy free at the mo, was with his last girlfriend for 4 years and still sees her little lad, even tho he isn't his. He isn't rushing to settle with anyone else but is so nice I hope he does find someone worthy of him before I get too old to be a nanna! Always around if you want to pm and off load. Liz x

Sorry to hear the boyfriend got cold feet Bubbles.....perhaps he was feeling a bit like you......that he would not come up to expectations......what we women seem to miss, is that men have feelings too, and can get anxious about their bodies and appearance.... You are you.....just relax and be yourself.....you have had good advice from the gentlemen on this board as well as us ladies....believe in yourself.....

I just talked to my mum and she said i have to take my heart off of my sleve and put it in my pocket. like the saying gose,, You should keep your heart in your pocket an dnot on your sleve for any old fool to break. So i think this is sound advice. she said i am too much of a careing girl to be upset about men like this.. But you should always give people the benifit of the dought... Update,,,, Hello all just to let you know, He did not turn up, had his phone turned off and will not answer my text. So i reckon you could say that is the end of that,,,, Why do people treat each other like that.??? I have to admit i am quite gutted and upset.. And ya i know the right person is out there for me.
