Well I have just read this thread all the way through and it is absolutely fascinating. I have no connection with Lancashire at all except for the fact that I was evacuated there during the war but this thread has made my mouth water and I will definitely put Pendle on my places to visit if at all possible. Dave, Will definately take your advice. We said we don't want to make the mistake of doing everything and seeing everything in one go (you couldn't if you tried). So will be going again in another couple of weeks (if I can wait that long). Right off to bed now. Thanks and goodnight. LLx |
