Loo is fixed...a worn washer seal on the flush was the culprit.... fortunately he had the washer, sorted in 15 mins :-D :-D

We had a terrible thunderstorn yesterday evening with thunder, lightening and rain like we haven't seen for ages - it was bouncing off the ground and there were puddles everywhere. It has rained on and off all day today.

Been out to get a new pair of shoes - Skechers slip-ins, so I don't have to bend down to get them on, which makes me dizzy :-0

I've only ever worn leather shoes before and never even had a pair of trainers so they will take a bit of getting used to but they are comfortable. Just have to get used to the more casual look.

We've just had what I would call a cloud-burst. In less than 5 minutes the road is almost like a river and there has been thunder and lightening again.

Luckily the council was round just a couple of days ago cleaning out the gutters and drains so it should all disappear as soon as the rain stops.

It seems to have eased off while I've been posting this. Very strange weather lately :-S
