Bit of a restless night here. Lovely and cool outside at 4a.m but there was a constant

annoying noise for a long time after that. Sounds as if it was coming from local tube

yard.

Let's hope the sea breeze reachs us too, to moderate the temperature during the day.

Much cooler here today.

Really enjoyed my trip to Bridlington yesterday to meet with K’s niece and her OH at their seaside apartment.

They had been for a swim in the sea after breakfast but by afternoon the sun had moved which made it comfy after lunch for us to sit with a drink on the balcony people- and boat-watching.

Travelling was cool with the air con on and timing was spot on.

On voluntary duty this morning so I shall get ready after I have watered the tomatoes.
