It's already too warm for me. Got the curtains at the back closed already and the windows at the front open.

I usually wear clothes that cover me up even in the summer but today I'm wearing a sleeveless vest top that doesn't really fit me any more but I'm staying in so who cares ;-)

Here's another one who won't be going far today.

Laptop is telling me the temperatures are going to plummet :-S

It's 25 at the moment, but the house with curtains pulled shut and windows closed on the south side is feeling not too bad.
I looked out about 4.30 am and it was pleasant.

There will be a few sunburnt people coming off beaches today, no doubt :-0 :-|

I have just renewed my Genes subscription. I have paid by cheque for the last few years as it was the only way I could get the cheap (£8.96) annual renewal. However this time when I clicked the "renew" button at the top of the page it allowed me to pay with a card online :-D :-D Just as well as I had forgotten to send a cheque this time.

I renewed on Saturday, by clicking the renew button and using my card.

I had remembered it was coming up to renewal time, but didn't we used to get an e mail reminder, or did I renew before they sent that perhaps?

I didn't get an email reminder Gwyn and to be honest I hadn't noticed the "renew" button before today. It was only when I remembered that I was going to be late sending a cheque that I checked the top of the page and noticed it. Up until this year it has always given a much larger amount for an annual subscription if paying using the button. This year though there was the option of a discounted 75p. per month for annual subscription which should work out at £9, but they only took £8.96 :-S
