I think today is going to be hotter than yesterday here. Yesterday was pleasantly warm but today is already much warmer and I've already got the curtains at the back of the house closed.

Enjoy the day and don't do too much.

Is it only Sunday that's a day of rest Von? ;-)

Very warm here too, although there is just the gentlest of breezes to move the air a little.
Not yet so hot as yesterday.

I was just talking to a friend about walking her dogs.
She usually takes them both separately early in the mornings ( One is a plodder and doesn't want to go far, the other would go as far as you wanted)

She said that in this weather, she always remembers what a vet. once told her....
.... He had never known a dog to come to harm through missing a walk, but in extreme heat, it can be quite uncomfortable and even dangerous for them.
Hers have access to a shaded garden via the open patio doors, so that will do them until it cools down.

Very warm day here - but I never sit out in it..

Was going across to my bestie’s for a coffee but then I remembered the ongoing roadworks on the road there. It is dire and the three way queues are always long and tedious so I decided against it as I did not want to sit stewing in the car in this heat.

I compensated myself by nipping out for a cream cake. :-D
