Another bright and beautiful day here too and warmer since that blustery wind has eased.
Will probably go for a local walk later.

Looked out of the bathroom window and see that the seagulls HAVE built a nest on the kitchen flat roof.
What's more, there are 3 eggs in it :-| :-0 :-|

I think we are in for a noisy summer......

Bright and sunny here now. Was a bit cool in the shade this morning, Sparkles was pretty empty this morning. In and out in 5 minutes.

Only just realised it is Bank Holiday this weekend. :-S

I had forgotten about that too.

I had known, however, about the late May BH because I am visiting K’s niece at her seaside apartment in Bridlington. I am looking forward to that as, if the weather is nice, we can sit on the balcony overlooking the sea.

She came for tea yesterday. She and her oldest brother have visited me every couple of months since K died but he could not make it this time. Both are very much like their mum, K’s sister and she was always great company.

A funny story about their dad. I was at their house one Friday evening when their dad came in saying that Prince William’s team had won the quiz. Well, you can imagine the howls of laughter from us, along with ‘You have drunk too much’ etc.

A day or two later we were eating humble pie as he was right. PW’s class was on a geography field trip and had indeed stayed at brother-in-law’s local which was in a village near Durham.

If I am not on later i'm ok :-)
