Full on sunshine here now and daughter said the chilly breeze we had yesterday has dropped, so I might venture out later.

Was foggy here early on but the sun came out and now it is a glorious day and if you stay in the sun it is quite warm. Still chilly in the shade though.

We were out early for a change this morning. First went to Tesco and bought lots of bunches of roses, then went to the cemetery at Hartlepool (49 years today since my dad died). We always do the rounds of all the family graves and leave flowers. 7 up to now.

Then went to see an uncle of mine that we haven't seen since before Bob got ill. It is his 97th birthday today and he still lives on his own with a couple of carers going in. Can't believe how well he looks. One of his carers came to the door while we were there and brought him a card and some biscuits but said she couldn't come in because they are not allowed to come inside the house if they are not working :-S
