All ship-shape here and I am about to ship out to sing. I shall sing loudly, girls, just so you can hear me, you understand. ;-)

Smart meter only fitted for electric usage - the important one, as I had to climb to read that meter. The guy said he had got a message from his boss not to do the gas as somewhere there was guidance re something or other. I told him I was not bothered about a gas smart meter as the meter is at eye-level so I can read it myself.

This morning, I have resisted standing in front of the smart meter and shaking my head as my son-in-law does. :-D

It’s pretty soggy but no flooding touch wood. The drains were cleared last year and the

school had their drains cleared recently. So fingers crossed.

I have some plant trays that I left out with the water replaced everyday but our resident

robin spends ages having a bath. :-D :-D

Bright and dry here but don't know how warm or cold as I haven't been out :-D

Spent the morning emptying the dining room (apart from the table and wall unit as son will do that later).

Decorator (a different one) is coming on Tuesday to paint the dining room and then the kitchen which only needs the paintwork and ceiling doing as the walls are tiled. The dining room carpet will be fitted when he's finished then I can forget about decorating for ever ;-)

The house will still be very old fashioned but at least everywhere will be bright, white and clean. :-)
